Portable high-voltage test system using very low frequency technology for determining the insulation quality of cables

The very-low frequency insulation testing is actually an alternative method to the power frequency withstand voltage test. Using a 0.1Hz very-low frequency withstand voltage test not only has the same effectiveness but also significantly reduces the volume and weight of the equipment. The capacity theoretically is about one five hundredth of the power frequency and the operation is simple.

Features

VLF cable tester comes with digital frequency conversion technology, microcomputer control, and full automation of processes such as boosting, lowering, measuring, and protection.
VLF cable tester features overvoltage protection, high and low side overcurrent protection, with an action time ≤10ms.
The controller is connected to the high-voltage generator at low voltage, ensuring safe photoelectric control.
A high and low voltage closed-loop negative feedback control circuit ensures no capacitance rise effect on output.
Multiple frequency options of 0.1Hz, 0.05Hz, and 0.02Hz allows for a wide testing range.
